Help us keep our children safe!

Priscilla Thatcher —

Please DO NOT park on the yellow lines or in our school staff carpark. We have noticed an increasing number of people stopping on the yellow lines outside the school frontage on Silverdale Road when dropping their children off to school. Parents are also using the staff carpark next to the Student Common room.

A broken yellow line means no stopping or parking.  Broken yellow lines are placed in areas where parking would cause an obstruction or danger to other road users.  Please do not stop here - even to drop children off to school. Our student road patrollers find it very difficult to safely cross our tamariki when people are parked on the yellow lines - even for just a moment. Children can be safely dropped off for school in Barrie Crescent (we have a gate into the school grounds) and in the St Matthew's Church Carpark.  Both these school gates are opened at 8.30am.

Please do not use the staff carpark next to the Student Commonroom after 8.00am as after this time this carpark is used only for staff and buses dropping off children enrolled in our Patricia Avenue Satellite Unit.
