ODD SHOE Day - a BIG, BIG THANKYOU to everyone who donated yesterday morning in support of those affected by the cyclone. We will be collecting items all week; any further donations can be dropped off at the School Office.

Coming up this term we have:

  • Ice block Fridays: outside Room 6, Iceblocks $1.00, Juicies $1.50. If you are interested in helping to sell these on a Friday, please get in touch.

  • Disco and Community Picnic: Thursday, 9th March 5.00-7.00pm. Stalls will consist of: BBQ, Nachos: meat and veg options, Iceblocks, Cupcakes, Lollies, Drinks hot and cold, Face painting, Nail Polish, Temporary Tattoos, Buckets and Recycling. We will require helpers for stalls and also to bake mini cupcakes, please get in touch if you are interested to help.

  • Middle and Senior Swimming Sports: Friday, 3rd March, Selling Sausages $2.00 and Ice blocks $1.00. We will require helpers for cooking and organising if you are coming to watch, and interested in helping, please let us know.

  • Plastic Buckets: $2.00 each from the office

  • Cookie Time Fundraiser: Forms will come home week 6.

  • Next Meeting: Tuesday, 14th March, Zoom link will be available.


    We are a small group and we really need new members to help us continue with our great work. Every year members leave once their children have moved onto their next schools and our member numbers are getting smaller. You do not have to be involved in every meeting or event, just when your schedule allows would be greatly appreciated. We would love to meet you! We hold two meetings each term, one in week 2 and one in week 7 at 7.00pm.  Some are held in person in the staff room and some are on zoom to accommodate all, these meetings go for around an hour. We discuss upcoming events and items that the school would love to bring to our Tamariki, to make their Silverdale experience the best we can, please consider joining us.
