Brent Taylor has managed to save 20 slots for the Tough Guy/Girl Challenge this year on the postponed date of Tuesday, 18th June 2024 at Ngaruawahia Christian Youth Camp.

If we get less than 10 children entering then we will be unable to send a teacher to supervise this event - we will count on parent volunteers to manage our group. We will support coordinating transport where possible.

Please make sure you have selected Silverdale Normal School so we can collect all the race numbers together. Also, click ‘teacher collecting numbers’ so they are all bundled together. 

Withdrawal and Refund Policy: ALL withdrawals MUST be notified to info@eventpromotions.co.nz by 9:00am, seven days prior to the event date. These withdrawals will receive their entry fee refund, minus a $10.00 administrative/booking fee per competitor.

We would like to dress up for the event so if you have a good inexpensive idea please let Mr Taylor know!

Entry Types:

• Ankle Biters: School Years 3 and 4 - 1.5km one lap course 
• Little Nippers: School Years 5 and 6 - 3km one lap course

Outline for the Day from previous years 

• 8:30 am - Leave school 
• 9.00 to 9.30am - Registration/Race Bag Collection. 
• 10.00am - Start (Years 7-8 Boys, Years 7-8 Girls, Years 5-6 Boys, Years 5-6 Girls, Years 3-4 Boys, Years 3-4 Girls) 
• 11.45am - Prize-giving 
• 12:00 to 12:30pm - Approximate return to school. 
• 2:00 to 2:30pm - Arrive at school
