On Monday the Junior and Middle School classes each had a visit from a firefighter as part of the Firewise inquiry that we have been working on.

The firefighters revisited the learning we have been doing in our classes and gave the learners opportunities to ask them any further questions they had about fire safety. The learners really enjoyed having the firefighters come and visit their classes and also to talk a little bit about what their job entails.

The Get Firewise programme gives children of primary and intermediate age the knowledge and behaviour they need to stay fire safe and escape from a burning building.
