We have been making projects about New Zealand native animals this term. These include: takahe, kiwi, tuatara and geckos.

In room 17 we’ve been working on our projects from weeks 8 to 9. To do this, we got split into groups to teach others about native creatures all over New Zealand. We also made predators for our animals which were usually stoats, cats, hedgehogs and other pests.

This term we learnt all about our native animals. We researched about how we can protect them, their diets, habitats and predators.

I mostly enjoyed just making our projects and working with new people.
