Last Thursday evening our Parent Teacher Group held their Annual General Meeting, (this year by zoom).

I have attached my report that I presented to the PTG for you to read. 

I'd like to acknowledge Katherine Don - PTG Chair person who is stepping down at the end of this year. Katherine has made a such a difference in her time serving on the PTG. So many of our school events, fundraising ventures and activities have been coordinated by her - as well as organising the grants that have provided our colourful shade sails. We are really going to miss Katherine (and the family!!) next year.

Our PTG really is an amazing group of people that do so much for our school. Not only to they create some of the biggest events on the school calendar (DISCOS!!), the money raised by the various fundraising activities makes a huge difference to our school. Some of the activities supported by PTG funds include:

• Breakfast club
• Supplying our Food Technology room
• New Entrant Books
• Year 6 Leavers' dinner
• Shade sails
• Sports uniforms
• Special teaching resources
• End of year fun days
• Junior Pirate Ship
• Junior outdoor space equipment

So every time you choose to support a PTG fundraising venture (e.g. ice block Fridays, end of term lunch...) your money is put to good use!
