Throughout Term Two the seniors learnt how to play the drums using buckets donated to the school by Mitre 10.

We were lucky enough to have the very talented Anna Mills working with the students for one hour a week. Throughout this time the children practised creating their own bucket drumming rhythms and explored the different sounds they could make from the buckets. They also learnt to read pieces of music and understand how musical pieces are put together. Each class then worked together, combining their ideas into a song while developing teamwork and collaboration skills. Thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to the performance.
