NZ School Kids Fishing Tournament

The season is here, and so are the school holidays! Tangler® is hosting a fun fishing tournament for the kids across the country, and it's completely free! This is a measure-only tournament, targeting Kahawai and Snapper, and we have 6 Shimano fishing rod and reel combos as major prizes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). It is open to anyone under 16 throughout all of Aotearoa.

Tangler® support sustainable fishing and this tournament is listed as Catch and Release. However, this is not a firm rule. Please do your part and release fish when possible.
MUST READ!
- You MUST take a glory photo with both the child and adult in the picture or your fish will not be verified.
- Length must be measured using a measuring device (brag mat or tape measure) and be clearly visible in Brag mat upload.
- Brag mat photo must also include the words " #TrueTangler " in the photo, this can be on a piece of paper, a card or anything.
