Our current fundraising focus is to purchase some dual basketball/netball hoops for the courts by rooms 14 and 15. We have several fundraisers coming up for that..

"Write like an Author" is an internationally acclaimed writing course that teaches young writers the skills and techniques that professional authors use to create their stories. During the camp, each participant will develop and write an original creative story under the guidance of well-known author and writing coach Maria Gill. "Draw Like an Artist" is our concurrent illustration course that teaches young artists the skills and techniques that professional illustrators use. The presenter is Nina Rycroft.

The futureFERNS programme is Netball New Zealand’s official Junior Netball programme. It begins in term 2 and is open for girls, boys and all year groups.

Please join us on Friday, 12th March, for this year's senior and middle school swimming exhibition to be held at the University of Waikato swimming pool. There is no cost for the day.

The Mini Hockey season runs over two terms from Saturday, 8th May (Term 2) until Saturday, 28th August (Term 3). Children need to make a strong commitment for the duration of the season in BOTH terms.

Our Tae-Kwon-Do based MMA style teaches the discipline of traditional Martial Arts combined with modern and realistic self defence.

A reminder that we have our school banking competition running this term. Each deposit that a child makes through our school banking programme puts them into the draw to WIN 1 of 3 bikes!

We have been fortunate once again to have received some Ministry Funding to subsidise our Māori Art classes again this year. This class last Wednesday afternoon. There are still places available, so please contact the School Office this week if your child would like to join this class.
