On the 31st of October, it was our school Athletics day. The sun came scorching down on our faces. Everyone got to compete and have fun. There were five events, Shotput, long jump, high jump, discus and sprints. Everyone gave it a good shot, but some stood out above the rest. Tom.H was a big stand out he did well in every event, especially in the long jump where he jumped 4.63m. Sam.G also did very well, in shotput Sam threw 6.56m! Charlotte.P was also a great participant. She threw 16.82m in discus! Aisling.S was a very fast sprinter coming in a 10.24s! Amelie. A was a great high jumper able to jump 1.33m! The day was completed with a house relay. Everyone went home with very stiff legs, but it was a great day. Thank you to Mrs Cowens for taking some lovely pictures. By Lily Christie
