One Body, Many Parts
We are created to be related! We aren't meant to live in isolation, and we aren't meant to just surround ourselves with virtual clones! Schools, community and society is richer when diversity flourishes!
With the introduction of the COVID-19 Protection Framework imminent... the implications of this framework will greatly restrict the ability of a portion of our community to be involved in different events and freedoms. This will make it more challenging to function as one united community... but not impossible! It is a challenge we must meet head-on.
St Joseph's will strive to always be an inclusive community. Whether you might be unvaccinated, unmarried, Irish, tall, short, blue-eyed or red-haired... you are all valued members of our community.
Our differences make us stronger! This includes difference of opinion... provided that opinion is not weaponised!
The government are encouraging us to be kind... a nice message - but it's not enough. We are called to love. It is possible to act kind but be mean spirited. Love requires an act of the heart.
"But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:44-45
