A special announcement

It is with mixed emotions I write to inform you that Peter Richmond has been appointed to the position of Tumuaki (Principal) of Tihiraki North Loburn School. I'm gutted to be losing him, but very proud that he has won this opportunity. North Loburn is a great school and an ideal place for Peter to start out on his Principal journey. He officially takes up this role on January 28, AD2022.

Peter has been our hard-working, energy-filled DP since the beginning of 2017. He has given so much to the school and will be missed. 

The great news is that next year Peter's son Braith will still be starting as a New Entrant at St Joseph's. So while we lose him as a teacher we will gain him as a member of the parent community.

We will also cling to Tracey Richmond as a part-time teacher. She is an awesome teacher and we have no intention of parting with her.

The Board have yet to meet to discuss the plan for replacing Peter. We may need to employ someone temporarily for one or two terms while a thorough recruitment process can occur.
