Space 7 enjoyed their trip down to the Ōpāwaho River today to do some planting, and weed and mulch the plantings that are already there. Heidi the Park Ranger explained the importance of planting for the environment. As well as some smaller grasses, children also planted several Totara trees which can live to 1000 years old.
