We would like to acknowledge the volunteer position that your staff member, Samantha Bates, holds on our National Executive. The mahi that Samantha has been involved with has been extensive in recent times.

Drama NZ is an Association that supports teachers across the motu from all sectors; ECE, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. We have strong links to industry and run a national conference every year. For the last three years we have received Ministry of Education Networks of Expertise funding to grow our membership and build a stronger community.

Drama NZ would like you to be aware that Samantha was elected by their colleagues and has worked tirelessly to ensure Drama teachers throughout NZ are well supported and up to date with curriculum developments. They are a strong leader in the Drama community and continue to do this mahi on top of their full time work. In these challenging times they are acknowledged by our Association for their continued efforts to ensure Drama education is thriving.
