Congratulations to Zahra Baird (Year 6) who has picked up a number of placings at various Rhythmic competitions in recent weeks.

Zahra was third overall (Level 4) at the Nelson Junior Rhythmic Championships finishing third in the rope and ball and fourth in free.

She represented Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo at the Canterbury Primary Schools Rhythmic Competition last month where she finished seventh overall (Level 4).

Zahra also picked up first overall (Level 4) at the Canterbury Rhythmic Junior Championships, finishing first in the ball, second in free and fifth in rope. She was also third overall in the Grade 2 Group Team.
