Epro8 Challenge

Last Friday two teams of Year 5 and 6 students went to compete at the Canterbury Epro8 Challenge. Epro8 is a technology based event where you compete against other schools to create machines and working models using a range of different equipment such as, wheels, levers, poles, and electronics. One thing that we enjoyed about the event was working together as a team and using heaps of new equipment that we don’t have at school. It really challenged our thinking! There were 10 teams in the competition and both our teams did a great job representing our school.
The teams were: Year 6: Laura De Mora, Tate Healy, Grace Williams, Freddie Panckhurst Year 5: Jemima Hemingway, Marco Wada, Theo Squires Brown, Fletcher Boyce
