IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REPORTS, LEARNING JOURNEYS AND HELPING AT HOME

Denise Torrey —

Tomorrow you will receive your child's report both digitally ( see below) and in a hard copy. For the end of year report you will get a choice of how you receive it. Go to and fill in the quick survey after tomorrow.

Reports:

Over the past two years we have been working on reporting in real time. Tomorrow you will receive a digital and paper copy of your child’s report.

You may notice that your child’s report may differ slightly, as the digital copy is updated each week by the teacher and the paper copy was printed off last week. The front page remains the same, but the child may have achieved the goal or be working on a new one this week.

These real time reports allow you as the parent/caregiver the most up to date information about your child’s learning goals and achievement.

Please fill in this quick survey to tell us how you would like your child's report at the end of the year.If we don't hear from you we will just send out digitally.

Learning Journeys: For Waka Kopapa and Waka Tete you need to book a 10 minute time slot to see the teacher. The sessions end at 5:10pm and 7;40pm . If your interview is towards the end of these session times you must have undertaken your child's Learning Journey prior to your interview starting. Staff have tea at 5:10pm and pack up at 7:40pm.
