The new Year 1 children have made a great start to school. Last week they had their school visits and learnt the routines of the school.

This week they are at school for full days. They are learning how to work at their learning stations and where to go for reading, writing and maths groups. They are being introduced to what it means to be a SMART Somerfield kid. They also get the chance to get outside and do some fitness and play games as a class. Welcome to the new families to Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo and the current families who have had a new child start school. We look forward to watching your child learn and grow.
