After School Disco – Summer Fun!!!

The long awaited night-time DISCO will be on Friday 24th November in the School Hall at 5.15pm for Juniors (Years 0,1,2,3) and at 6.30pm for Seniors (Years 4,5,6).

Tickets are for sale on myKindo from Thursday 9th November. Make sure you are signed up for myKindo (see below) and you have registered each child that you have at Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo. If you can not use myKindo we have cash sales for tickets before and after school on the day of the Disco ONLY, outside the school office.

Children should bring extra coins as the PTA will be selling:
Ice Blocks $1 each (limit 1 per child) AND

Chippies $2, Lolly bag $1, Mega snake $1.

We encourage parents and caregivers to leave their child inside the Disco unless they are volunteering to help the PTA. We also do not allow toddlers or siblings to attend (you are welcome to wait in the school playground during the Disco). There will be a qualified first aider, teachers and adult volunteers who are there to assist children. No children will be allowed to leave the Hall without a parent or caregiver.

Disco Volunteers Needed

Parent/ grandparent/ caregiver volunteers are needed for 1.5 hour slot on the evening of Friday 24th November for each of our Discos in the school hall. We need volunteers to help sell ice blocks, chips and lollies and help pack up afterward. We also need people to float around checking on child wellbeing and assist them with rubbish, recycling, and having fun! If you can help please fill in this form: https://forms.gle/1w86EmjdzR2nmaeE6
