This year Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime

This year Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime. It’s a time when people all across NZ come together to read the same story at the same time. And guess what? 

The story your teacher will read is an adventure with a delightful sloth named Sammy. Sammy is a very curious sloth who loves exploring and making new friends. One day Sammy decides to leave his cosy tree branch and go on a big adventure to discover the world beyond the rainforest.

There will be a colouring competition for those who would like to take part. All entries will go in a draw for a book prize, one for each team. Teachers, please collect and send your class entries to Space 17 by Friday 26 May.
