A few Somerfield parents run the charity One Mother to Another which supports parents (primarily mothers) in hospital with a sick child - some of you may have received one of their care packages.The charity is currently running a short crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to provide Christmas gifts to parents and whānau in hospital with their child this year. While we all wish for health and happiness for loved ones at Christmas, unfortunately for hundreds of parents and whānau, they’ll wake up on Christmas day at their child’s hospital bedside, separated from family and riddled with stress and fear.
