Message from Karyn, Jacob & Christian

I have been sitting here for some time trying to find the right words to fully express my gratitude for all the love and support we have been given over the past few months since losing Dean.

I know his passing has come as a complete shock and deep sadness to many as it has (and still is) to us.

Losing Dean has devastated our family and left us hurting deeply.  Having the school community wrap SOOO much love and support around us has been truly phenomenal and helped us on our journey towards moving forward.

Our family can not thank all those who have shown us kindness in all shapes and forms, (both big and small) enough.  Almost every day since Dean's passing we have had more support than you could every imagine, from families sharing their heart-warming dishes with us (I felt a bit like the Queen being served) lovely delicious homemade baking, help with food for school lunches, help getting the boys to their sport and care after school and early on Denise home delivered a wonderful big care package from the school full of all kinds of useful goodies and treats, and offered the full support from herself and the teachers to help with both boys needs going forward, a Give a little support was set up for the boys ongoing needs (which collected more than I would every have dreamt of), and we have had visits from the Garden Fairy (who coincidentally lives a couple of houses over), who was also part of a house clean up and welcome home after the funeral.  All of this has been as well as all the kind thoughts, hugs and smiles of encouragement.

From great sadness, has truly come great kindness, lifelong friendships and my eternal gratitude.  I know Dean would be so happy to see his family being so well cared for and for that I will always be grateful. xx
