44 of our tamariki had the opportunity to represent Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo at the Zones Athletics at Nga Puna Wai last Thursday. Congratulations to Maadi McCormick who received MVP for his Sydenham Rugby team.
Congratulations to the Somerfield Smashers who retained their Action indoor cricket title at the end of last term. They won the final against a Marshlands team which was close for a while before Somerfield made a crucial breakthrough and never looked back, winning 98 to 71.
