On 25 October 2021, the COVID-19 Vaccination Order came into effect.

This Vaccination Order makes COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory

for anyone working onsite at a school who may come into contact with students. It applies to:

• all school staff (teachers, support and other onsite staff)
• contractors
• volunteers
• anyone else engaged to provide onsite services

This order impacts on all volunteers in our school including sport coaching.

Everyone will have to provide proof of vaccination this will be either by immunisation card being sited which we will copy and put on file,or a SMS from a health provider until certificates are available.

Evidence of vaccination must be recorded and stored securely. It’s important to note that the Vaccination Order overrides any Privacy Act right to not provide medical information, but the requirement to properly record and store information remains.

You will be contacted for this information shortly  if you are engaged on site in any way eg sport coaches. You will need  to fill in information for our register and provide evidence. This needs to be done by 15 November when you must have had your first injection.
