Congratulations to Maia, Isla and Mila

Congratulations to Isla and Mila our kaitiaki for Takahē protection.  Isla and Mila encourage everyone to take care of our tussock plantations as this is an important food source for the takahē and was heavily impacted by deer browsing.  The takahē is a taonga for Ngai Tahu who continue to work with the Department of Conservation to protect these beautiful manu/birds.  Well done girls!
