Board of Trustees submission on the proposed Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2021
Waka Kotahi, New Zealand Transport Agency are currently consulting on a proposed new rule enabling an improved approach to speed management planning on New Zealand roads. This is called the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2021.
As a Board, we would love to see a local environment where all our students and their whānau feel confident and safe walking, biking, and scooting to and from school. We have made a submission on how we feel the proposals will impact our ākonga and whānau and outlined our recommendations.
