Message from the Tumuaki

Denise Torrey —

He mihi mahana kia koutou katoa - Warm greetings to all.

It has been a busy couple of weeks with settling tamariki and staff into Spaces 5 -12.  The landscaping project in front of these rooms and in the forest area, preparation for the new court and the removal of the old classes.

By the end of these holidays those parts of our project should just about be completed. Next term Mr Caigou and our tamariki are embarking on a project with Cashmere High students to build some new seating by our cafe and new playground. They will also build  the long awaited chicken coop in the Greenville  area. Greenville reinstatement is another big project to look forward to in the next two terms.

It's all go!!

In amongst all of this we celebrate our girls and boys basketball teams winning the zone basketball tournament. A well deserved win and a huge thank you again to Cathy Burrows for her coaching skills.

Coming up we have assembly tomorrow and in the last week we are quite busy. On Wednesday 1 July 7pm we have our PTA AGM. I encourage you to come along even though you may not want to stand for the committee but just want to know what the PTA does. The election will be for officers and we also need some committee members.

Cross Country 10:30am - 3 July and the SMART assembly 2pm - 3 July. Reports will also be sent home the same day.
