The Year 5 team went on a field trip to Canterbury Museum and Riccarton Bush as part of their local area history unit this week. They have been learning about the settlement of Aotearoa by Maori, as well as early contact between Maori and Pakeha in the 1800s. Here are some pictures showing some of the things we got up to.
