Pink shirt day is on this  Friday the 19th of May.  Pink Shirt Day is a day where everyone wears pink to celebrate anti bullying.

Pink shirt day started when a year ten student who got bullied for wearing a pink shirt in 2004. Pink shirt day was created by David Shepherd and Travis Price.

Pink shirts should be worn by all genders not just girls, boys too! If you see someone being bullied for any reason then go tell them it's not ok to bully, or go tell a trusted adult.

In the 1940s the color pink started to become a color associated with girls but people should be able to wear whatever they want.
