Well done!

Yesterday 38 of our tamariki represented Somerfield Te Kura at the Southwest Zone Winter Tournament in rugby, netball, football and hockey. The weather was brilliant and all our tamariki played with skill and passion. It was great to see them pushing themselves outside their comfort zone, particularly the ones who were trying a new sport. Our hockey and football teams were both unbeaten and have qualified for the Canterbury Champs on Thursday 5 September. Thanks to our amazing coaches Gillie Watson, Jane Sewell, Mark Croft and Rod Newton. Ka rawe!
