Art Exhibition

This term at Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo we are celebrating cultures across the school through visual art. This will culminate in an Art Exhibition in week 6. The students will be learning about and producing an artwork that relates to one of the many cultures that are represented at our school. Some classes will opt for a whole class entry and others will enter individual art pieces. The art will be displayed in a range of different styles, formats and display types. It will convey a sense of community that demonstrates a love and passion for diversity. Students will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition during school time, and whanau can visit too! Below are the dates and times for parent/whanau viewing of our marvellous exhibition. We hope to see you there. Hours open for parents/whanau to: Wednesday 20th November - 8.30-9.30am and 2.30-3.30pm Thursday 21st November - 8.30-9.30am and 2.30-6.30pm (late night) Friday 22nd November - 8.30-9.30am and 2.30-3.30pm
