We are looking to develop a cohort entry policy for our five year olds that is aligned to new Ministry guidelines for cohort entry.

The policy would allow new entrants to start after their 5th birthday on the first day of the term or the first day of week five of the term only. The child must be five before these times.Once a child is formally enrolled at school, they must attend school regularly. Children must be enrolled in school by their 6th birthday.
