DRESS-UP FOR ART EXHIBITION OPENING DAY

As part of the opening day and to celebrate the diverse cultures we have at Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo, we are inviting the children to come to school dressed up. They may want to dress in cultural dress that represents themselves or a culture that they identify with. They may want to dress up to represent the culture of the art that they have done. Or, they may want to dress as an artist , (in general or the artist whose work has been represented in their art). Keep it simple and fun.

Dress-up is entirely optional with no expectations that the students have to be in an outfit.

Weather permitting, we will have a dress-up parade on the netball court after the opening ceremony.
