With the possibility at any time going up Alert Levels it is important that you get our APP so I can quickly keep you up to date. Kellie will also be available in Space 19 next Wednesday, 11 November 8:30 - 9:30am if you need any help with the APP.

Congratulations to Karen Haines who has been appointed to the Acting DP role at Oaklands School. We wish Karen the best for her year of professional development at Oaklands.

Welcome back next year to  Kirstin Kotoul and Andrea Katsipis. We are looking forward to having them as part of the team again. Welcome to Mary Deroy who also joins us next year. Mary has been a student with us this year. We will also be joined by Samantha Bates who will join us part-time to teach dance and drama as part of our 2021 theme of "The Show Must Go On". Samantha will also carry out professional development for staff.

Thanks you to Sanchia Paterson, Daniel Caigou, the PTA, parent helpers and our kaiako for making our discos on Friday such a success. A special thank you to the social council who support the PTA as well as worked to get everyone involved on the dance floor!

The reports I have received from our tamariki was that the milkshakes were a hit! Thank you for your support of this Year 6 Camp fundraiser. They have raised $521.80  to help with the "extras" on camp. I'm sure they will be working with their kaiako to decided what those extras are!

In the weekend the Board of Trustees had a successful strategic retreat. We are well on our way with planning for 2021.
