Welcome to Term 4

I hope you managed to spend some time with your children over the break.

Welcome back to Nicole MacDonald, nee Crow who is in Space 10 now. Latiesha Tamaiparea is on maternity leave and we also welcome back Jess Thomas, nee Neugebauer who has started our next New Entrants class in Space 21.

Congratulations to Jude Lange in Space 2 who has been appointed to a permanent position from 2025 and Melissa Winfield in Space 17 who has also been appointed for 2025.

Some of you may have seen a bit of activity here at school during the break. As part of our 5 Year Property Plan we had to update the hall and administrations areas with LED lighting as well as installing new flooring in the hall.

Our term begins with Waka Kōpapa and Tētē swimming for the next two weeks and then it is a whirl wind of activity as the school charges to the end of the year.

You will see there are a number of major events before we get there namely:

• Christchurch Music Festival

• Year 6 Camp at Living Springs

• Kahukura Maunga Tete Cultural evening where all whanau are welcome and all tamariki who wish to perform can.

2. Teachers Only Day for the new curriculum is next Friday - 25 October. SCHOOL IS CLOSED
