Somerfield Kids Shine Kakapo Sponsorship - Hannah Nolan

I read a non-fiction book that talked about the top five ugliest animals and Kakapo was one of them. Kakapos are a New Zealand bird so I decided to make a project about it and found out they were endangered so I wanted to start a fundraiser. I started making a poster with a donation box because I wanted to sponsor Kakapo for Somerfield School with a goal of $100. After a while, I decided to start a raffle to win a Kakapo toy that made a noise to raise more money because I wasn't getting much money from the donation box. Many people were interested and I started going around classes to talk about my fundraiser. Then I went around to my family during the break and now, I have raised up to $117.30!
