I joined the board as a co-opted member in May 2022 and later became an elected parent representative.

My background includes accounting, business assurance, insurance, and IT management. I bring a variety of skills and experiences, particularly helping the leadership team with the school’s financial matters.

As parents, we are fortunate to have a fantastic and caring school that provides an environment where our children can flourish.

My partner Ana and I have two children at Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo. I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment that supports the growth of all of our SMART tamariki, the professional development of our teachers and, engagement with our community and wider whānau whānui.

My background is in project management in both public and private sector roles and I contribute skills to the Board including planning, policy, strategic thought and operational delivery.

It is a privilege to serve as a parent representative on the Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo Board of Trustees, alongside an engaged, skilled and passionate group of fellow board members, Tumuaki, school management and teaching staff.
