Twizel Kindergarten
Leesa Reeves - June 20, 2023
Our moemoeā is our vision for the tamariki at Twizel Kindergarten
Konei te tūrangawaewae o ngā mokupuna
He kōhure nga ara akonga ki tenei taiao,
Ka hononga o ngā tamariki me ana hapori
This is a place of belonging, learning streams are unique in this environment, joining children, families and communities.
Our moemoeā and curriculum priorities underpin the learning programme that kaiako provide and work alongside tamariki. Our curriculum priorities outline the areas of learning that are valued at this kindergarten. These curriculum priorities are sourced from parent and whānau values and aspirations and spread the length and breadth of the learning outcomes in the New Zealand Early Childhood curriculum document - Te Whāriki. Our curriculum priorities are unique to us and represent ‘What learning matters here’.
