Last year, Lake Tekapo Kindergarten tamariki reached through the fence, planting tiny seeds into Papatūānuku—not knowing if they would grow in the dry soil, with no one watering them over the holidays.

But nature had its own plan! 🌱 Against the odds, our sunflowers are now standing tall, blooming beautifully. A perfect reminder that growth takes time, resilience, and a little bit of magic!

This new space is now a special spot for our tamariki to check in each day, watch, and wonder. 💛
