Over the past few weeks the tamariki have worked together to create a very beautiful Christmas tree.

We were invited to decorate a tree for Boost Temuka, and kaiako were happy to support this community initiative. The tree and a few test pots of paint were delivered to kindergarten….and then the festive fun began!

The tamariki used cotton buds to apply the paint, before attaching shells, driftwood and seaweed. A wonderful example of collaborative art.

Our spectacular tree has been transported to the Main Street of Temuka, and is now situated outside the Temuka Pharmacy.
