We are currently overrun by dragon hunters at Kowhai Kindergarten!

One child came back this term with a strong interest in Dragons and this has instigated a kindergarten wide interest that has led us on many exciting journeys over the last few weeks.

We have built Volcanoes for the Dragons to get their fire, hunted camouflaged and invisible dragons, flown on the nest swing on the hunt for dragons, hatched dragon eggs and had battles between fire breathing dragons and ice breathing dragons.

We have researched dragons and watched excerpts from 'How to train your dragon', we have created dragon egg nests and caves and painted dragon eggs, built dragon hunting traps at carpentry and everyone seems to have an invisible dragon with them that has a range of amazing powers!
