Ranui Kindergarten had the Timaru Fire Department visit, they taught the tamariki about keeping safe at home, smoke alarms and how they help. This was an extension of their current learning as they have been making connecting links to the wider community. 

This follows a visit from the Community Police Officer Constable Maire Froud where the children learnt about keeping safe in cars.
