At Lake Tekapo Kindergarten, tamariki have been turning blocks into ice skates, balancing on them and sliding across the mat—just like real skaters! ❄️

With ice hockey such a big part of our Tekapo community, it’s no surprise that their play reflects what they see around them. Many of our four-year-olds spend winter on the ice, and now they’re bringing that experience into their imaginative play!

Through this, they’re practicing balance, coordination, and teamwork—all while having a blast! 🏒✨
