We value māia and support tamariki to be courageous and confident to seek support, express their views and ideas and direct their own learning. Our environment provides opportunities to explore, be curious, to problem solve and kaiako promote independence.

The tamariki at Rata regularly connect with our ‘friends’ from Wallingford Rest Home. These reciprocal relationships offer a wealth of understanding, aroha and joy through their interactions.
