Ranui Kindergarten

Leesa Reeves —

Situated within park like settings overlooking the mountains and the sea, valuing our outdoor environment. We pride ourselves on a welcoming and inclusive environment embracing whānau language culture and identity.

He Taonga Te Mokopuna, Kia Whāngaia, Kia Tipu, Kia Rea.

Every Child is a treasure to be nurtured, to grow and to flourish.

Ranui kindergarten welcomes tamariki from the age of 4 months to 5 years.

The Maunka room caters for tamariki under 2 years where a small group of five tamariki are supported with their learning by a Kaiako/teacher and teacher aide.

The over twos environment is spacious where tamariki have the freedom to explore as nature intended. In a secure environment that allows them to develop into confident, sociable and competent young people.

Ranui Kindergarten provides rich learning experiences lead by fully qualified kaiako. We embrace the kupapa of Enviroschools, where the practice of sustainability and caring for Papatūānuku, our environment, is woven though daily practices. A strong feature of Ranui Kindergarten is connections with the wider community through excursions and visitors to support learning interests for tamariki.

"Ranui Kindergarten has done wonders for my little girl. The staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome. They care about allergies, health & everything else. The teaching about the environment, growing and preparing of their own fruits and veges. Ranui is a family not just a kindergarten"

"I chose Ranui Kindergarten because it was close to my older kid’s school making it easy for me. The staff embraced my son with his interest in the outdoors, nature and insects and nurtured that love. My son felt part of a community and it was great on pick up to hear all about his adventures during the day"
