Excitement at Lake Tekapo Kindergarten

Every week, like clockwork, a special kind of magic happens at Lake Tekapo Kindergarten. As soon as the rubbish truck rumbles into view, our tamariki rush to the fence, wide-eyed with wonder and excitement!

 

There’s something truly special about the connections our children form with the people in our world—from the local rubbish collectors to the friendly faces at the supermarket. These everyday heroes keep our community running, and our tamariki love watching, waving, and sharing smiles with them.

 

Moments like these remind us how important it is to notice, appreciate, and connect with the people who help shape our daily lives.
