Cooking up a storm...tasting as we go

Kaiako and tamariki have been making a variety of foods to enjoy at Kowhai Kindergarten. Baking and cooking together enhances turn taking, waiting, and measuring skills. Along with predicting what will happen when we mix, heat, cut and taste. There is also the courage to try new foods.

From muffins, to smoothies, to popcorn...yum!
