One of our year 4 students, Chase Cameron, recently competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu No Gi NZ Nationals.

These were held in Auckland during the school holidays, with approximately 2000 children from various age groups competing.

Chase won his first 2 fights by submission, then won his 3rd fight by points.

He will next be competing later this month in Blenheim, then in Dunedin in July for the South Island Nationals.

As further proof of how hard Chase has been working, for the 2023-2024 season he is in 1st place position in New Zealand for his category.
