We are sure you are aware that the Hornby Library is moving to its new premises at Kyle Park (opposite Hornby High) in late 2023.

Recently, Christchurch City Council unanimously agreed to a proposal to transfer ownership of the existing Library building to the Hornby Community Care Trust (Centre) if the Trust can prove the building will be used for a range of sustainable community uses. The Trust is excited about the opportunity to expand the Community Centre to continue to provide activities/ services and spaces to enhance the lives of all who are part of the greater Hornby community.
