All of the children competed wonderfully, representing our school proudly. Well done to all of our children who made it to Zones, what a wonderful achievement for you all.

A special mention to some fantastic placings:

Dayton - 3rd discus: 19.95m

Adele - 3rd discus: 15.84m

Mele - 4th: shot put 6.25m

Sunny-Dee - 4th: long jump 3.06m and 1st: 60m sprint

RJ - 3rd: 60m sprint

Putauaki - 3rd: 60m sprint

Olly - 2nd: long jump 4.18m, 1st: high jump 1.27m and 1st: 60m sprint

Olly went on to proudly represent us at Centrals for all three of these events as well, where he did extremely well. Centrals is an event for the top athletes across Canterbury, so the competition is even greater here. Olly managed to place 3rd overall in the 60m sprint final, 3rd in long jump and 6th in high jump. We're very proud of Olly and his achievements, he worked really hard to get there!
